Don't let the 4.5 stars fool you, this shoe isn't made for the water for the following reasons: 1. It has a cardboard insole that leaves a wet paper mess when you use them in the water. My kid hated it and kept complaining about dirty wet feet.2. If water enters the shoes, it is not filtered, it is simply filled to the top (see my attached photos). These shoes were on sale and very cute so we decided to try them out. I really like that they have velcro on the side to make dressing that much easier!
