The best version of the cable in this style.

I have been singing magnetic cable for many years. They protect the ports of your frequently charged devices from accidents or mishandling by children. This is especially true for micro USB ports. Our house has been using them since the 2nd generation of cables, but this is by far the best version of these cables, even better than the later "round" versions. Don't leave home without it.

So it's a great cable for a variety of devices. I have one cable at work, one in my car and several at home. I get the right outlet recommendation for each family member's device, so everyone has access to a cord to charge their device, no matter who has what or where we are. I've been buying these cables from Netdot since Gen 3 and love how much they've improved over Gen. I'm currently using Gen 10. The best and weirdest magnet, fast charge support. Charges phone, works with Android Auto and computer USB connection to phone

After the cable worked, my main concern was that it would work with Android Auto. My Kenwood head unit supports Bluetooth audio, but all Android Auto features require a wired connection. This cable is great for that. I can also connect it to my computer and transfer files just like with a standard (non-magnetic) USB-C cable.
