I have been using this product for over 5 years. I'm older, bald, I have a dry, itchy scalp. I use it after showering and every night after cleansing my face. My skin gets oily over time, but I have oily skin. It doesn't feel greasy on first application and moisturizes as soon as it's rubbed in (just over a pearl-sized dose). Also, I find that most facial moisturizers form small cysts. Not this formula. I won't use anything else.

I wish I could say I liked it because I wanted it. I usually think Neutrogena has good moisturizers, but that's definitely not the case if you have acne-prone skin. In my 30's I wanted a good Rentoid based moisturizer with sunscreen. I have oily, acne prone skin and it suits me. Doesn't irritate me or make me vomit. I apply toner first, then moisturize and then apply makeup. It smells a bit like sunscreen but I like the consistency of a thick cream and there isn't much of it.

I've always used this product but it's hard to find in stores. Only I could find almost the same cream from Neutrogena with hyaluronic acid. I seem to be allergic to the hyaluronic acid in the Helioplex Deep Wrinkle Moisturizer. It seems to cause blemishes and bumps on my face. I've always had a crush on Neutrogena and when I was looking for a face moisturizer with SPF I decided to give this a try. I was looking for something with retinol to help with my fine lines and wrinkles. I use it with Neutrogena face wash and night moisturizer. Fine lines have practically disappeared and deeper wrinkles have become less visible. I have darker skin and don't spend much time outside so the SPF is perfect for what I need it for.
