🌞 Neutrogena Bright Boost Facial Moisturizer: SPF 30 Sunscreen, Brightening Oil-Free Formula with Neoglucosamine, Moringa Seed, Vitamin C & E, 1.0 fl. oz Review

I make sure to apply enough before hiking in this heat Phx, Az. The instructions recommend applying it every 30 minutes but I personally don't think it's necessary, unless you have been exposed to heat for more than an hour. I bought the entire line for sensitive skin care.

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and so far so good. I can't compare it to other sunscreens as I've never used it regularly until now. He hit exactly the things that bothered me the most. They were that it has at least SPF 30, doesn't leave a white residue on my face, doesn't make my face look like an oil stain right away, and doesn't have that nasty chemical or perfume smell that sunscreen often has. I am 50/50 on this product. I really like the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle line of products and wanted to try a lightweight daily moisturizer, so I chose Bright Boost Facial Moisturizer. I like it but it seems a little greasy and shiny on my face. Reminds me more of a sunscreen product.

I ordered Bright Boost SPF lotion. This face lotion has a very strong scent which is good, it smells nice but I don't need such a strong scent for my sensitive skin. The formula is light, very runny, almost watery, but still kind of oily. The absolute barrier for me in this lotion is shimmer. I like to apply sunscreen liberally for good protection and coverage and to keep my face hydrated, but I'd rather not look like my skin is covered in golden flakes. This product works very well and looks quite nice. Didn't get enough sun to test its SPF, but it seems to make me a little lighter! The only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is because it has a strong floral scent. It bothered me a bit the first few times I used it. Seems like I'm used to it? It's not bad, just stronger than I expected and I don't really like floral scents.

I've been using a daytime moisturizer with SPF for a few weeks. Haven't noticed any effect on my skin tone yet, but it's taking a little longer. I will say it stays fairly sheer and I don't feel any greasyness or heaviness compared to some of the sunscreen products I've used. I was hoping to use it on days when I didn't want to wear makeup to breathe some life into my skin. I'm not sure what I expected. I think I was hoping for a very hydrated look, maybe something that would add to the pink. However, by "brightness booster" they just mean it's shiny. It's not distracting, but it doesn't improve my skin either. I just look like I'm playing a twilight vampire. I also don't like the sticky/grainy texture on my hands when I apply it.
