Daily exfoliating face wash contains both alpha and beta hydroxy acids and has been shown to visibly reduce the look of pores by half their size with daily use. Its unique formula is dermatologist-tested and features gentle exfoliators that sweep away dead surface skin and smooth over rough, uneven patches. Soap-free and clean-rinsing, this pore refining cleanser penetrates deep to remove dirt, oil and makeup that can clog and enlarge pores. From a dermatologist-recommended skincare brand, this glycolic acid face wash helps even skin tone and is non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores.

Not so good Exfoliates best for washing

I've been using Neutrogena's exfoliating products for a while now but lately all of their products have gone back to having an abrasive formula which is exactly what exfoliates the skin. One of Neutrogena's other products was so good my face started to glow, my pores almost disappeared and yes, this formula was abrasive. Then they changed the formula to Gentle, thereby destroying the actual effectiveness of the product. Look out for "gentle" in the description of Exfoliate, this means the…

One of the few skin products that works consistently for me.

I have oily skin and an acne-prone face. I've tried countless different skin care products (soaps, essential oils, creams, etc.) and this is the only OTC product that works for me at any consistency. It doesn't dry out my skin too much and gives my face a clean, glowing look. I'm glad I tried it despite the mediocre reviews as it was recommended to me by a chemist who works for a major cosmetics company. I would recommend trying it out if you have oily skin (along with plenty of hydration and…

Wrong product. NOT Alpha Hydroxy as shown.

This isn't the old version of the alpha and beta hydroxy acid peel. At some point, Neutrogena changed the formula to glycolic acid. Although the product image shows Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids with 3 bottles, this product is Glycolic Acid and does not contain it. I could buy a bottle of this locally instead of wasting time waiting for 3 packs.

Effective Beauty and Personal Care

I bought this at Walmart but couldn't find it for a few months and my skin suffered from it. I get hormonal acne around my jaw and chin, and even worse when I eat sweets. Returning to this product always dries up acne and cleanses the skin. When you start using it you should be a bit more conservative and only use it every other day or only in the morning or evening or something. But once your skin gets used to it, there are no problems. This is the only cleanser I can rely on to really clear…

MY FAVORITE FACE MUSK

I have been using this cleanser for many years, it makes my skin so clean and smooth. I bought from Revain because I haven't been able to find it in stores since late last year and had to resort to other facial cleansers including other Neutrogena cleansers. Anything else made my skin look colorless and uneven, broken and rough. Now that I've found my #1, I'm working on getting my skin clear and back to normal. And the price wasn't bad either, 3 bottles for about $23 compared to about $8 a…

Why don't they do it anymore?

I've tried several similar formulas but none of them work as well as this one in keeping my skin clean without drying it out. Others I've tested cause pimples on the skin despite being said to be comedogenic, or have chemicals like SLS added to them to make them lather but not help them clear. Bring back this simple basic product.

Terrible rashes are good for skin care

Before using this product I had very clear skin with no blemishes but my main concern was the size of the pores. I decided to try this after running out of my usual exfoliating face wash. I was hoping it would shrink my pores but instead my face got so red and inflamed. Not only the redness is the problem, but now I have very small pimples everywhere and my pores seem larger than before. I'm so upset this is the worst thing my skin has ever looked in my life. Now I'm struggling to figure out…

Don't buy this from Cleansers

I used to use Neutrogena's Blue Pore Cleanser and it was fantastic but they are now discontinued so I decided to try this new cleanser. It basically burned my skin, I had a rash all over my body and it's very itchy and now it's breaking out and very dry. I went to the Neutrogena website and apparently this happens to a lot of people because they have a lot of bad reviews so please don't buy this as it might happen to you too.
