I gave that 2 stars because the boots actually looked like they were really good shoes. The problem was that they sent us the UK size, not the US size. So it didn't work for my son.

My son loved her. They fit well and he said they are very comfortable. But he was able to wear it for a little over a month, and one of the spikes broke. He only wears his boots on court and then changes into flip flops so I don't know how that happened.

These boots were purchased for my son and delivered on April 2nd. In fact, they were used an average of 2 times a week for about 6 weeks and were only used in the field. If you look at the attached picture you can see the spikes are not strong and are falling apart. Please let me know because I would rather have them replaced.

I've only used the spikes twice and the bottom spikes are already breaking off. Bad product for the money we paid! Our last pair of New Balance lasted a long time. Not these! There should be a new factory and a new supplier in Vietnam.

The thorn broke and we only lived with them for a month. My son is living the way that suits him and it is helping with his Sever's disease but we are so disappointed that we have clearly called it quits.

My son loves these boots. He has an XX foot but these X wide boots fit him perfectly. We took out the insoles and put in the orthotics and he says they're very comfortable.

I cut off the cleats about 1/4" to help my son stop tumbling across the field. He complained that he felt like he was "walking on pencils". Great for deep/soft turf or muddy conditions. But in a dry field they are ankle supports, remember a child weighs 40-60 pounds in them, they don't quite dig into the turf when playing.

Great pair of boots. Son says they are the most comfortable he has ever worn. Added a few inserts for extra support but overall a great product. Definitely recommend and will buy again in the future.

My son is 11 and has trouble finding comfortable baseball boots. You are perfect. The seating position is a little wide, which helped. It didn't fit well under the armor and actually rendered him lame. We increased the size based on the reviews but it was too big. I think it fits the size.

My daughter has played 12 games this season and she has no street clothes and two of the notches on the bottom have broken off. So I had to buy a new pair and go to Adidas.

Great quality and fit. My son says they are very comfortable. I ordered blue to match his uniform but got black instead so I'm deducting a star. They're also a bit overpriced for a kid's shoe they outgrow in a season, but overall happy with the purchase.

Fits as expected. I ordered 4.5W for my son and that's what we got. I have to say we have had New Balance boots before and prefer them due to the roomier front box which seems more standard for their shoes. They don't look or feel like any other NB shoe we've had. They look and feel very cheap. The three stars I gave them can very easily go down to one or two stars depending on how they hold up and how they are worn during practice and games.

We play over 70 youth games a year on our touring team, 12U. My son changes his shoes about every 4 months just because of the ball we are playing. They would have lasted 3 seasons of a standard ball if it hadn't grown. They hold up great and now we only buy New Balance for baseball, they fit great, aren't heavy and hold up better than we expect. We will play 3 games a day in tournaments, 11 hours on the fields and he has never complained about his legs hurting from New Balance products.

Bought in February as a gift to my nephew for the championship game on 04/29. Today, April 24th, he wore it to practice 4 times and it fell apart! 4-5 spikes have fallen off and the coating on the bottom is peeling off.
