Don't waste money. These shoes are rock solid. It's like wearing bricks on your feet. I bought Under Armor instead and the difference is amazing. UA has a pillow and is comfortable. NB .hard as a brick and just plain bad!

Aside from the fact that the wide version is very, very wide - too wide in my opinion - it doesn't cushion as well as other New Balance walking and running models. the hiking shoes I bought, like the 990 and 3040. They are very light, but that's not my point. Overall this is a poor quality model unless you need a huge toe box and will be riding them many miles a day.

The outsole is a bit stiffer than other similar brands so it doesn't flex as much in the toe area. It helps relieve pressure on the balls of your feet where it hurts. The cushioning is good, but I still replaced the insole in the kit with a gel insole and everything is fine. I immediately bought 2 more pairs!

The reason I'm not reviewing this NB shoe was that this shoe wasn't impressed with the durability of the rubber outsole on this model. As you can see in the attached pictures taken in April 2021 after less than 50 miles of brisk walking without running, the rubber front toe and heel have worn significantly. I bought this in March 2021 and in April 2021 the rubber toe and heel area looks worn. The fit and comfort of the shoe is good and the design looks cool. I don't use this shoe that much…

These are excellent shoes, especially for the price. I see these shoes are going to be $50 or $60. If you usually buy New Balance sneakers, JUST BUY HALF MORE! I would definitely buy again!

I've run 2 half marathons and 1 full marathon in these and haven't had any pain or problems with my feet. They are comfortable and offer great cushioning for my thick heels.

Just received today, tried on and so far so good, they have more room in the toe box than other fresh foam sneakers I've bought, love the colour also.
