Optimized Performance: New Balance FuelCell Prism Athletic Running Shoes for Men Review

A little over a month ago, a shoe developed a puncture and the rubber bottom sole came off, and according to Walmart I was too late to return it.

I've only had them for a few weeks and both shoes are already tearing. Definitely not what I expected from New Balance. Thanks for attention.

Bought these shoes less than 2 months ago. The soles are already worn and there is a hole in the upper part of the boots. I've had a new balance for years and never have a pair worn out so quickly. The worst pair of shoes... EVER!

I don't wear these shoes for running, but I was amazed that I could wear them a full shift at work and be on my feet all day without having to "break in" them. Also good healing support. Good shoes!

NB Prism FC v2 has a very thin upper; so the ultra wide is too loose. Consider a regular fit or make sure you can fall back if it's too big.

The shoes were worn while walking on asphalt and after only a few months they tore and the sole was worn to holes. Nice looking shoe and great feel but the soles are too soft rubber to be used for anything other than casual around town use. Very disappointed with the durability of these shoes.

fantastic elastic shoe. Almost as good as carbon fiber plate version. although I personally did not have a high vault. They have good overall arch support.

My husband has large feet, we're talking 15 wide, so it's amazing to find shoes that are comfortable for him and don't break or tear right away. He's been wearing them every time he goes to the gym since we got them and he says they're great. Very light and breathable.

This is the worst pair of shoes I have ever bought! After 2 months the socks of the shoes fell apart! The fabric is not suitable for shoes, thin and not durable, see the photo to see all the holes on this pair of shoes after 2 months of wearing. It's too expensive to have a pair of shoes that only last 2 months. I'm sorry and I want my money back!

I've only had them for two days so can't rate their durability but they are very comfortable, have good arch support and a GREAT soft sole.

These shoes will never be comfortable. it doesn't fit tight unless I overtighten it, and of course it feels too tight then. Also, I found the laces dig into the top of the foot since the tongue is so short.

I am an avid gym goer and runner. Do 8 to 15 km each day, depending on the weather and general health. These shoes are very comfortable and offer excellent cushioning. Used another brand which caused pain in my legs but after switching to this brand the pain went away. I'm glad I got it.

So first off I have to say that the arch support and overall orthopedic structure in this shoe is incredibly helpful in recovering from the stress and pressure that is put on the feet. BUT, and a big BUT, the build quality of this shoe is terrible. after 2/2.5 months of wearing this shoe to work daily it only ripped on the side and started tearing, for the price this is unacceptable.

Soft standing aid, yet light. Not sure how long they will last, but after 300 miles they are great shoes for tempo runs and even longer runs.

Comfortable shoe but already torn due to bad welding or stitching as shown in the picture. A $100 shoe and it broke after just 2 months? I expected better quality.

I liked the shoes for the first two runs, but after putting them on a few times the insole in my right boot started sliding down the heel and out from under my big toe. This was very frustrating while running and eventually led to blisters. I tried several times to set it up but the result stuck. This is a bummer because otherwise they feel fast and responsive.

I'm not sure I like her. I need a wide shoe for my duckbill feet but they have little to no arch support and the midsole is much firmer than my 1080v10s that I ran my last marathon in. I will probably send them back to TBH. Woohoo for the Walmart wardrobe.

A quality pair of running shoes makes a world of difference. They are fantastic - light weight and really absorb the perfect amount of shock with every step. Less fatigue after running. Your body will thank you. Bonus. They look very cool and stylish. Good job New Balance with your overall design of this shoe! I recommend this pair.
