I bought these on the recommendation of a New Balance sales representative as a good all round road shoe. I generally found them comfortable for daily activities, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them for serious runners. I wanted to like them. i really loved When I first tried them on and walked around the house, they were amazing! I took them for a five mile walk and they were a nightmare. The laces are not traditionally tightened as there is no tongue, instead they simply gather excess fabric under the laces.
