New Balance Girls 680V5 Running Girls' Shoes : Athletic Review

I am a lifelong consumer of new stocks and my son has been wearing new stocks for a number of years as well. Their sneakers are generally consistent in terms of fit, quality, and durability. These shoes are the exception. They broke in many places after my son's brief use in less than two months. Velcro, toe box and elastic laces are mostly out of balance. Bought about 4 months ago and my son loves them every day he wears them. They also did well compared to the target shoe brand or any other brand! That's a pleasant surprise, because our shoes usually wear out very quickly. The only complaint is that the available color schemes aren't visually appealing. We chose gray and red as we live in STL and support the Cardinals, but he would have preferred a more childish color like green or blue.

My 4 year old son who will soon be 5 had trouble finding wide shoes, even ones advertised as wide. I usually buy him Nike sneakers, but I have to take them far, which are not usually sold in stores. Now this year we are trying New Balance and ASICS. For the first time both good sneakers in my opinion but I have to give it a new balance , even compared to Nike they beat them when it comes to wide feet.
