I usually buy NB shoes for my son as this brand is the best for his foot. I ordered this model in width but he couldn't even put his foot in the sneaker. Otherwise, the style and quality seemed typical of NB Kids sneakers.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I have ordered and had to return as my son was unable to wear them. My son has wide feet and wide New Balance shoes usually fit him well. The first pair was too small and too narrow, although they are marked wide. The second pair came at him, but still close. In this second pair, the inner soles of both shoes are not connected to the shoes and protrude in the heel area. I am also returning these shoes and will purchase a different model number.

We bought these again when my son grew a foot because the velcro sticks well and he likes to pull them tight. Other Velcro-fastening shoes we've tried in the past never tightened as much as he would have liked, and when they did, only a small portion of the Velcro was still in contact. The Velcro straps on these shoes are long and strong. Now he has nothing to complain about and he can do it himself! They also lasted longer than most of his shoes in the past.
