The shoes are true to size and are very comfortable, but the soles don't last very long. I wore them once or twice a week for a good 7 weeks until the sole wore out completely.

They are perfect, light and airy or warm. The quality is as expected in this price range, but they look a bit higher quality when standing. I highly recommend them if you are looking for the most comfortable, not flashy, cheap but not the cheapest shoe.

I am biased towards New Balance. I think her shoes are some of the most comfortable I've ever worn. These did not disappoint us. I love them for morning walks.

When you buy New Balance sneakers, make sure they are made in the USA. I ordered 4XW and couldn't get them to bounce. The ones I have are made in the USA and run true to size.

The sole felt soft enough to walk on. Even though the shoes were so small, I could barely put my foot in them! I am a woman with wide feet. I wore the D width in the women's New Balance but they were narrow. So I ordered them to try! The size was definitely not 8 4E. The material of the shoes was also rough, I am not familiar with such material. Very rude!

Fit and feel as expected from NB hiking shoes. light and soft sole and insole. BUT! The big problem is the outsole. The sole is too soft for serious hiking shoes. After a strenuous walk of just over six miles on city streets and trails, the wear and tear is already noticeable. Shoes won't last long. Good looking shoes that I will use as everyday sneakers.

Runs small, but I adjusted and bought a size up. These were bought as a gift for my husband. He loves her. He claims these are the most comfortable shoes he has worn in a long time.

I have already ordered a half size based on previous comments. I usually order 8 1/2 so I ordered 9 based on the comments and they fit great.

First I ordered size 10M which is my usual size but they were too small. I sent them back and ordered a size 11 and they fit almost perfectly. I have worn them several times and they are very comfortable and soft.

These shoes are very comfortable and look great. I'm a big fan of the x-wide size NB. I found this shoe at Best Buy for a reasonable price. The original order was canceled by Best Buy due to damaged packaging. You would think you could just reorder for the same price but when I went to purchase the price went up $5.

Super light and breathable. On a family road trip with lots of bumps in the pavement, they immediately felt comfortable.

I ordered 2 pairs of New Balance shoes, both are a size 11.5, after trying them on today and wearing them for a short time at home I had to take them off, these shoes are unmarked or need to be exchanged for a size 12. You can see from all my orders, that I wear 11.5

The fabric of these shoes gets dirty almost instantly. I accidentally spilled some cooking oil on it and it WILL NOT come off.

Convenient for hiking. What I don't like is that the tongue on one of the shoes is not centered so it always moves to the right and leaves a gap on the left.

I've been wearing these shoes for about 3 years and they hold up great. The tread on the sole is wearing out so it's time for a new shoe and I'm ordering this pair again.

This inexpensive shoe is just right for my use. It has enough toe room and lining to be worn barefoot very well. I have replaced the insole with a more supportive one and it works very well. Very good for the price.

They are comfortable when you put them on, but quickly become flat, hard and uncomfortable on the soles of your feet after a little walking.

I have an NB 771v2 in 9 4E and they fit perfectly so I bought them the exact same size/width and couldn't even fit my whole foot in either shoe. Next to 771v2 it's VERY obvious that this is NOT 4E as advertised even though the tongue label says so. Approximately 1/2 inch narrower (SEE IMAGE) than the 771v2. Very disappointed with the width difference between the models. I'm sending them back and need to go to an actual store to try them on before buying another pair. :(

At first I was very happy with the comfort, but it didn't last long. Memory foam insoles are flattened and healing shows loss of profile. I'm only 170lbs and felt they should last over 3 months before I needed new insoles. I'm doing decently as a school teacher too, but not to the point of showing that much. As for the rest of the shoes I would say they look great and are lightweight. Oh, and the last thing I remember from looking at my feet right now is the tongue slipping to the side every 5…

I love the look of these shoes, they are very comfortable but not durable. In less than a year, the treads were almost completely worn out, making wet, flat surfaces as slippery as ice. I only wear them to walk around the neighborhood and to work (I have a sedentary job). I'm not sure how long these shoes should last; the rest of the shoe is in great shape, but the sole wears out so quickly that i hesitate to buy NB shoes every time.
