The clamping system came loose after a month and a half! money wasted.

The idea is great and has worked well for my son but only for less than 2 months! The system that helps attach the shoes is broken. I was surprised to learn that only a small strip of the spinning wheel was glued in, and that's how it was supposed to hold up. After all it was a waste of money.

Defect - boa broken

Prior to this purchase I received 3 new Boa Balance System boots for my son (not from this seller) and they were fantastic. This shoe broke immediately! I do not recommend 👎🏼

  • My toddler just loves them! The quality is excellent. Fits perfectly. Loves the boa grip feature. This is her second pair!
Cons
  • Socks broke after a month. The handle broke off and now they're gone. Children's shoes should be more durable.

Ok not great in my rating

I love that New Balance has wide shoes for small kids and I've bought a few more pairs. With this pair, I think you're paying for the BOA system (which is very cool) rather than the overall New Balance quality. The outsole only has partial rubber on the outsole. My 5 year old says he's "slippery" at the gym.

Great shoes! good for me

My oldest son is autistic and has shoelace problems. These shoes are fantastic for him. It can open and tighten the screw with one hand. Plus they look cool! Win. Fit is great and he loves her, which makes me very happy.

Love her! ..... the best in my rating

My 7 year old daughter loves them. She's still struggling to get her show off and this is a great Velco alternative. She says they are very comfortable.

  • The little thing on the side pulls the shoes together which is cool. But they are not that wide.

Decay in a month

The sole started to separate from the sole of the shoe after only 32 days of wear. We're just outside Revane's return window. These are expensive children's shoes and wear out faster than any other shoes our three children have ever had. The BOA lacing system works well.

  • Shoes can cause blisters or other foot problems in some children.

Great shoes

Great shoes. My grandson loved her. Everyone in their class was talking about how cool these shoes are. The boa constrictor was a hit. He says they are very comfortable and make him run faster. lol I order them from New Balance before they lost my package. I found them from Revain and reordered them, as always the delivery from Revain has been amazing.
