Right shoe split along left side after four months of use. This cord is about 3 inches long. They weren't used for CrossFit or anything else intense. I only wore them to the office for maybe half a week. This was my fourth pair of New Balance and the first pair to fall apart.

Looks great, great fit. I really have found a gem with New Balance. As a 17EE, I don't usually get this range of shoes in my size, but New Balance doesn't let me down anymore. As they say, 501v1 is a classic style shoe that fits me like a glove. I would recommend them to anyone struggling to find wide shoes.

These are my first pair of what I call 'athleisure' shoes and I'm glad to have them. They are very comfortable to walk all day and look perfect with half a dress. Jeans and a nice shirt go perfectly with this shoe. Size 17M, comfortable.

Sporty and comfortable my son likes them a lot he is diabetic so I choose a new balance for their good reputation in terms of fit and lack of pressure on the toes

Bought for my husband and was pleasantly surprised at how much he likes them. The fit is comfortable and true to size, and they have a striking pure white style. Pretty traditional sneaker that should have many uses. Good choice for him.
