I bought these shoes for my son just before the COVID lockdown so he doesn't wear them as often. However, I will tell you that he tried them on the first day he received them and said he was so comfortable that he left them on for the rest of the day. This is an addition as he is not a fan of shoes. I'll edit my review once they've had it for a while.

I have had several pairs of New Balance 4E Wide shoes. I felt very comfortable on my foot. These shoes were uncomfortably tight.

Tight elastic opening instead of the traditional tongue slit. Climbing is very difficult and uncomfortable. Instead, I bought these: (Nike Men's Flex Experience Run 8 Running Shoes.)

I ordered 13 4E because the orthopedist told me the 14 3E I wear is too long. I think I'm 13 1/2 because I ordered this pair and ended up being too short and too tight. I think the problem is that my orthotics take up too much space. I had to send this pair back. I have worn New Balance for many years.

In the photo the leather on the shoes was starting to peel off when I received them. happen. I still wear them to work. They're a little tight for a New Balance pair. I wear 10 1/2 regular but these things look like 10 1/8 to me. I will never buy them again. At least here, but possibly at the New Balance Outlet in Charlotte.

I have had Asics 4E for many years. I bought these in "X-WIDE". I thought I bought the wrong shoes when I tried them on but realized I forgot to remove the insoles before adding the custom insoles. Still runs small and can't cross the laces through the tongue loop, but that's just because of my fat legs. Definitely not a shoe I'd ever want to compete in, but it looks well made.

First I just want to talk about how happy I am that there is a "wide" size. This is a turning point in shoe shopping at Revain! Second, I love the fit of these shoes - I just don't have enough grip when running on wet asphalt. I almost lost my nose rudder at intervals after some rain. Will definitely be back when it's time for a new pair but now I have to keep an eye out for the rain.
