🏃 New Balance Women's W890ln6: Redefining Comfort and Style for Active Women Review

I have a problem with my nails rubbing against the inside of my shoes. The problem isn't the size, it's how my feet fit in the shoes. I trim my nails as best I can, but if I wear them too long I lose my toenails. My issue aside, I really like these shoes! The wind blows right through them, so you may need thicker socks if your feet get cold quickly.

Bought these a half size larger than usual and they fit perfectly. Although I want to love these shoes, I ran in them once and my ankles started hurting after half a mile and after running 6 miles my calf felt completely bruised. I've never had that with any other shoe. I think these shoes lack the proper cushioning and flexibility needed for running.

I bought these shoes to replace an identical pair that is already a few years old. Kudos to New Balance for continuing to carry this model so I can buy again without having to go to the store and try on the shoes. These shoes are ok. A sizing note: I found myself wearing a size 11, even though my usual shoe size is 10. Great trainers but I wear 7 inch outdoor shoes so I usually wear 7.5 inch trainers. They fit like a 7, legs barely fit in so I need an 8 for the first time. Next to my 880V7 they are significantly smaller - both sizes are 7.5. If you normally wear a neutral size 7, BUY THIS. Very well done and great reviews! 3/22/20 continued - I'm finally a size 8, 1/2 size bigger than I've ever worn. You are wonderful. No break-in period, no strange pressure points, a really neutral shoe and very comfortable.

So grateful they brought the 890 back! I've been running in Vazee for several years, which wasn't a comfort/support idea; However, the 890 is as I remember it and I'm thrilled to have it back. I ran in them for a week and had no pain in my knees (which I struggled with after every run with Vazee). I wasn't sure about their looks (since I like the look of the Fresh Foam line better) but they look really great with all my tracksuits. I would say it's a win/win/win in terms of looks/style/quality.
