I had to adjust the ankle buckles.

These ankle boots are so soft and warm, perfect for keeping my cute boy's feet warm in winter. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the ankle boots kept falling off because the closure around the ankle couldn't pull a bit tighter. I was able to solve this problem by buying an extra velcro and sewing it on the ankle (right next to the other velcro) so that the closure closes a little tighter. I love her! Who doesn't love children's shoes, right? Pros: rich dark blue color, goes a lot, doesn't pill when washed. Little tiny buttons! Sure they're fake, but damn if they ain't adorable. Easy to slip on and off, and the ankle strap ensures they stay in place. I can even slide my wavy, squirming baby in pretty quickly and easily!
