My daughter had second degree burns and I hoped this would help keep the sun from burning herself and minimize further drama after the incident. My baby is 6 years old and I knew it would be difficult to keep him clean but they ripped within a week of getting them. The fit was perfect and they could really use something held together to protect their burns. Very disappointed.

They're great for what I wanted, but they're a bit big. I wish I had a smaller size for my 6 year old daughter but when I fold it up a bit it works really well. The material is very stretchy, I have washed them several times and they are holding up very well.

3 stars because the boy in the photo looks like my 5 year old daughter so I bought a medium size. It was small for her, I want to go back and get a large size but don't want to go through the return process. I don't know how the material feels because I can't taste it. I recommend growing up from 4 years old.

I don't know how they affect children. But we use them in our 75 pound lab. He licks his elbows until they are wet. So we had to find a way to prevent that. Attached to an elastic "suspenders", they stay on the legs and cover the elbow for breathability.

This cuff came in very handy this winter when my almost 4 year old broke his arm and needed a cast!
