I initially have 4 channels and spent over an hour getting it to work. And now it works great. So I added these 2 channels today. And spent another half hour playing with it to hook it up. Weird stuff but once registered and set up they are awesome! Too fast. Works great with Alexa and is cheap! There are a few things to consider when setting up. 1 - ENSURE your phone/Wi-Fi is set to 2.4GHz. You need to set up a temporary channel on the router. After setup, you can 5.2- Put your phone in…

Amazing A+ Rated 4-Port DIY Switch

I got it up and running in about 15 minutes. I have about 25 WiFi smart devices at home and based on my experience I recommend any device that supports Tuya/SmartLife. App like this device. I say this because Tuya recently updated its app, used by most smart home devices, to support local (off-grid) integration with Home Assistant and other home automation software. So the instructions were great. I would like an 8 or 16 channel version of this device. First, configure the hotspot (WIFI) for 2.4, not 5GHz, so rename the WiFi SSID for 5G, not the same name as for 2.4. Then follow the instructions.
