Adhesive residue is good for first aid tape

Adhesive tape is ok, dispenser works well but when I removed the tape this morning after the shower there was a lot of adhesive residue left. So much so that my clothes stick where the duct tape was yesterday. I need to use something to erase it. I don't want to do this every time I retie this ribbon, so I have to find another ribbon.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Happy with Nexcare Soft Paper First Aid Tape with Dispenser

I like this soft paper tape. This is going to sound weird, but I actually use duct tape to hold my bangs in place after washing my hair. So when it dries I take the tape off and the bangs stay the way I put them on and the tape is very gentle and doesn't pull the hair out. A few years ago I used a hair band similar to this Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape. I don't think the hair band is no longer made. If so, it's hard to come by and likely costs more than Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Damaged

Used to stick on masks

I am studying optometry, patients can easily fog up with the phoropter or any lenses during the examination, which slows down my work. I bought this tape for patients to tape the mask. When you first apply the tape, it is very delicate and easy to peel off. However, after a while, the grip gets stronger and it becomes harder to break free. It works but I've tried it on myself and the tape is very strong, not as gentle as I need it to be for my face. I don't want to hurt any of my patients, so…

Works for masks if you wear glasses

The reason I received this product is because I wear masks. But the problem is that I wear glasses and my glasses always fog up. So I saw a YouTube video recommending first aid paper like this one and gave it a try. To be honest it works and my mask sticks to my face, I just put a small strip on my nose to keep my hot breath out. It works but even when I ride a bike but for some reason it's very strong when I try to take it off and hurts my skin a little bit. So I recommend this product when…

It works well - sometimes

I have used many medical tapes and many brands over the years. I have found that Nexcare works very well on dry or slightly damp skin. The problem is when are you going to remove it. If the tape is used in an area that gets hot (e.g. the armpit) it actually seems to "activate" the adhesive, making it harder to remove. I usually soak the tape before trying to remove it. In other places exposed to air that doesn't overheat, I had no problem removing them. I really like the donor tape style. It's…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Superb fingertips

Note: Description says 2 packs but I only received 1 pack. $3 isn't bad for peace of mind! Bought this product to prevent breakouts on my skin. I apply the tape on my fingertips and at night. For the most part, the tape has helped me reduce damage to my skin. I can still touch my skin but I can't grab and pick which is awesome! This band is thin enough that I can control my touchscreen phone and laptop. I can unlock my phone with a graphic but obviously not with fingerprints. I can usually…

  • Hard wearing finish

Exceptionally Superior Tape

After trying various surgical tapes and tapes, this product has become my favorite. It works! Adheres to skin, bandages, cotton, silicone. everything i ever needed. Never had a problem before. Pros: - Incredibly comfortable! This is a HUGE time and energy saving with one dispenser. Breaking the band evenly may take some practice, but I find it sufficient. Can be removed easily and cleanly. Other paper tapes removed moisture from my skin and caused irritation, but that's not an issue with this…

Decent quality but shipped exposed and exposed to dirt

The packaging of this item was disappointing. For wound care, it really seemed less than that. I received this item as in store. Normally that would be enough. The packaging is not bad - for a shop window. Was in a dispenser with a cardboard tag. Why didn't I like getting it like this? The belt is mainly exposed to dust, dirt and grime during storage and during transport. It just doesn't seem hygienic to me since it's for wound care. Why didn't the manufacturer just put it in a box? I bought…
