expensive office electronics

We have had no ink/technical issues with this cartridge. no leaks, no pc crashes. It's good. My only complaint is the price. My previous Canon printer used 270xl. I bought 3 packs for $6.99. These 2 packs cost $14.59. At first glance, the two cartridges look almost the same. I can't tell what's in MNF. Who drives the price? I do not know.
