This part is made of hard metal, not thin plastic like the factory original. I'm so glad this manufacturer chose a reliable replacement option. The original manufacturer would have preferred you to keep buying their fragile plastic parts.

Does not fit my bars. I also have 7/8. It's a shame to wait all day to get a useless piece of metal. Sarcasm. Yes, now I have to go back. Looks decent but is really nice to tease. Just when I thought I'd burst out of a wavy plastic tube. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo

It fits the 7/8 grip with no problems, the only problem is that it wasn't tight on mine as it was the last one. I'm using this on a motorized bike I built from an $850 frame, later I'm almost done! Buy it, my bike seems faster with it, even for $30 I'll replace it with it!

Looks good. It didn't hold up at first, but because the clips had a little lip. I just sanded the edge of my clips and they work great. This is good because there are several spots you can use if your cable is too long. One downside is that it doesn't come with a cable guide/regulator. Had to use another one I had for it to work properly. The little screw underneath is for the tension control, it's PITA. Only works when it is almost fully extended, otherwise the gas travel is too short.
