Hard to hold, no dexterity

My 2.5 year old is having a really hard time getting his thumbs in and keeping them there. The thumbs are tight and the whole mitten slips off, even when the Velcro is tightened to the maximum. However, they are warm and waterproof, which is the most important thing! And very well done.

Pros
  • The best design I can find on the market - allows you to slide in easily and your hands stay in place thanks to the easy drawstring closure.
Cons
  • Children may find it difficult to put on by themselves

Not waterproof or playable in snow

Falls out of the hands of a small toddler and needs to be readjusted about 4 times in 30 minutes when your toddler tries to play in the snow. If you're looking for a mostly waterproof feature, invest another $10 and get Didrixons, which are waterproof and shockproof as they climb higher and keep snow off your wrist.

Pros
  • The straps are adjustable to keep the mittens in place.
Cons
  • I was hoping they would stay with my 2 year old, we've tried so many gloves but they didn't work either.

so the timing was perfect. They were pretty easy to reach on

They arrived just before a big snowfall so the timing was perfect. They were quite easy to put on, mainly because the cuff isn't too long. However, they are still long enough to wrap nice and neatly around my son's wrists and keep snow out of his sleeves. Also, there's no thumb here, which means we can just click them without thinking. The only thing that doesn't have a thumb is it annoys my son! So it would be nice if the smaller size had a thumb option, but it's not the end of the world. (I…

My 4 year old son's favorite gloves!

Nice, well-made gloves. My son loves trucks and the fact that he can deliver them himself. They have an easy velcro closure that's comfortable for toddlers and fits snugly around wrists for donning gloves and clearing snow out of the way when playing snowball! They also have a grip area on the palms that makes it easier to lift objects or open doors. My 4 year old is VERY rough with clothes and they look brand new even after multiple washes. They wash well, but I let them air dry. I recommended

Pros
  • EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE ON: The mittens have elasticated wrists that stretch for a comfortable fit. The Velcro closure ensures a snug and secure fit so the mittens won't fall out of a small child's hands. They are ideal for first-time wearers and active little kids who love the great outdoors!
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

So far so good

I bought these gloves a few days before the snow storm as I knew my son would like to play in the snow. I took a chance because they had some bad reviews. The first thing I did when I got them was hold them under running water while my hand (or part of it) was gloved. My hand didn't get wet BUT the black part (we bought the red ones) got wet, the black material feels like faux suede and doesn't feel water repellent although again my hand didn't get wet. I bought a 2-4 side for my 3 year old and
