Subpar Lighting Component for Industrial Use

This product came up short in terms of reliability and performance. the connection was faulty, leading to frequent flickering of the LED lights. The only positive thing about it is its affordability .However, when it comes to industrial and scientific applications, reliability SHOULD never be compromised. In conclusion I would not recommend this product for anyone looking for long-lasting and durable lighting components..

Pros
  • Easy installation and connection
Cons
  • Requires a compatible recessed housing

Made cheap. Best in Recessed Lighting

This fixture does not come with a template or instructions for the exact size of the hole required for ceiling mounting, so the first hole I cut was a bit too small and heavy to cut properly switch. . I probably missed 1/8 inch and had to hand file the size of the hole. Another problem is that there is only one pin to hold the mounting box to the mounting body. It broke the first time I put it in the hole in the ceiling. In comparison, Home Depot's Halo light had three pins holding the back box

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others
