One of my favorite shoes from the early 80's growing up with adidas superstars and suede cougars. but no, they don't look identical to the ones from the 70's and 80's, they used to look a lot better, the hard look on the bottom looked rougher and even the whole outsole was thicker, and if you compare it with photos with the vintage Compare Nike swoosh logo on the side the shoe looked much better these new models look dull as curvy as the ones from before and the blue or from before was prettier

Overall I am happy with this purchase. I'm a bit disappointed with the amount (or lack of) padding. I feel they have improved over the years. I've been buying Cortez for many years now and it's not the quality I remember. But they are good.

Like many others I find the fit to be a bit small to begin with but with more than enough cushioning throughout the shoe I think they will be perfect when fully broken in. I was pleasantly surprised to hear these shoes are back in stock. For me the perfect everyday shoe for driving. NIKE, please carry on.
