👟 Nike Flyknit Women's Running Shoes - Athletic Footwear for Women Review

The Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit version of this shoe is not as good as the original Nike Zoom Fly shoe in my opinion. The shoes are flatter so it seems like my foot will come out of the shoe when using my custom orthotics. I had to add moleskin on the back of the shoe to make it more secure. It's not necessary with shoes at this price point, but the Zoom Fly shoes are a must for my hallux rigidus arthritis.

Ordered 1/2 size larger and these shoes will definitely still fit. Not exactly uncomfortable? But it feels like I'm wearing 2 layers of compression stockings. The cushion is great but I'm not sure if this shoe is worth it given the size. The laces are usually just for show, because they have to be tightened. I have a medium foot and usually wear a size 6. If you have a wide foot or prefer a roomier toe box these will be uncomfortable for you.

I tried them on in the store, they run half a size bigger and I thought they were good but roomy. I wanted my normal size and found it here on Amazon. Unfortunately, after two short distance runs, I find that I need to wear thin socks and try different lacing methods to relieve the pressure on the instep (it went numb after 1.5 miles!). These are the best shoes I have ever owned. I'm competing in an Ironman/marathon so I spend a lot of time in running shoes. They give me a 5-10 second per mile head start, so I think there is something to the carbon plate.
