I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Amazingly sharp lens. The camera is ideal for travel and street photography. Fits in a down jacket pocket. I carry it with me all the time. At the same time, in my opinion, the camera is not suitable for shooting at iso 1000+. It starts to make excessive noise and lose quality to a smartphone. The adapter works great. In general, a camera for the street during daylight hours. This is what he was counting on. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Pros
  • sharpness compactness Ergonomics Price Adapter work
Cons
  • The quality of photos and videos drops sharply at iso 1000+

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

Switched to z50 from d7000. The general impression is twofold. On the one hand, the shooting process itself has become more enjoyable (speed, focus accuracy, absolutely silent mode, rotary display). On the other hand, the camera looks flimsy compared to the "tank" d7000. Immediately ordered protective glass for the display). Managed quickly oriented. I don't feel any lack of ergonomics or control. Separately, I want to highlight the whale lens 16-50. He's cool, albeit dark. Very compact, the…

Pros
  • Silent Shooting overall build quality of camera and lens 16-50 display and viewfinder image quality good ergonomics The quality of photos and videos is excellent (especially video, after Nikon DSLRs) tilt display Weight, compactness (with kit 16-50)
Cons
  • Micro USB (could also supply type c) Backlash of the battery cover, and the absence of a rubber seal under it Only 2 crop lenses for the z system Still no batteries Slow battery charging (0.5A)

I was looking for a camera for shooting on trips and for the family, easy to operate, which even my wife would understand))) The camera is fast and easy to use, and the eye focus allows you to capture cool shots with children. When the lens is folded, the camera fits almost in a pocket. I shoot at least 800 frames on one battery charge. The video quality is amazing! Chose between Sony 6400, Fujifilm XT-30 and Z50. I liked the Z50 more in terms of fully touch control, the quality and size of the

Pros
  • Lightweight, fast, comfortable grip, there is protection against dust and water. Great video quality! Focusing on the eyes, silent shooting. Touch screen. Charged by power bank.
Cons
  • At the time of purchase, there were no additional batteries for sale.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

In general, Nikon did a great job, the camera against the background of competitors perfectly wins back its price, it does not seem pretentious or not very finished, cheap. For photography enthusiasts/beginners, it will be perfect, in this camera he will get everything he needs, and for someone who is switching from old cameras even more. I think a professional camera will also come in as a tourist camera, for those who do not want to carry bulky and expensive equipment on vacation. I tested…

Pros
  • 1. Price compared to competitors 2. ergonomics at height, comfortable grip, control 3. Intuitive menu (important for those who migrate from other systems) 4. Dynamic range, RAW stretch very well 5. rate of fire is excellent 6. Video recording without crop (from the entire field of the frame) 7. The smartphone app is great 8. Autofocus is beyond praise 9. camera workmanship 10. 1080P 120fps 11. Camera weight
Cons
  • 1. no stabilization on the matrix (only in lenses) 2. I would like to see a battery handle (the compartment cover is removable, so we can and will see in the future) 3. So far, there are not enough lenses on the Nikon Z mount

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

The camera perfectly inherited all the advantages of its older counterparts and confidently keeps up against their background (although it has a crop matrix). It fits comfortably in the hand, nothing more, a well-thought-out control system and a clear menu. It seems to be the youngest in the line without SLR cameras, but it immediately shows that it is ready for more.

Pros
  • Very compact yet incredibly powerful. At first glance, you would not understand that so much fit into this chamber. Here and 11 frames per second, and 4K throughout the frame, and a sharp picture (despite the fact that this is a crop). The camera is small and well suited for everyday shooting, when the main task is to have a decent device at hand. At the same time, the camera is ready for harsh tests thanks to the dust and moisture protected magnesium alloy body. To be honest, I was very surprised when I saw the pictures. I even thought: “why a full frame, if there is such a thing!”. The camera is great for every task. The photos are sharp and don't fib with the colors. Autofocus does not miss, the touch screen works well. The device showed itself remarkably well at night, you can easily work at high ISO. It does not make noise and handles tones well in dark areas of the frame. Clearly works with optics from SLR cameras, through an adapter. Never made a mistake and never slowed down. Although there is no matrix stabilization in the camera, this is more than compensated by the optical stabilizer.
Cons
  • Knowing the full potential of the camera, I simply did not find any shortcomings.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

For a novice photographer, this is an excellent device that more than covers all issues related to shooting video and photos. A clear menu, convenient keys and a cool display, which immediately shows juicy shots. You can work through the application, which is very convenient for me. When switching photo/video modes, separate settings can be selected for each. The case is compact and with a comfortable handle. The touch screen is of good quality, the brightness is enough for comfortable…

Pros
  • • Magnesium housing with dust and moisture protection; • Excellent build quality; • Light weight; • 30 fps. for 4K, 120fps for FullHD; • 14 bit RAW; • Wide dynamic range; • Jack for microphone; • Silent photography; • Intuitive menu; • You can operate using Nikon's "SnapBridge" application.
Cons
  • • No matrix stabilizer; • When using a selfie stick, part of the screen overlaps; • Focus tracking in low light is sometimes naughty.

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

In January, the D5600 suddenly broke down and after a couple of weeks of studying the issue and two days of test drive (I highly recommend this option), I purchased a Z50 with a 16-50 kit and an FTZ adapter. Almost all old F-mount lenses work fine, the only exception is the 8-16 width from Sigma, but I have suspicions that this may be a problem of a particular instance, at 5600 it also glitched for me. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase - I got everything I expected and even a little…

Pros
  • - Convenient size, with a whale pancake it is very comfortable to carry with you and it does not embarrass at all - photo quality - good DD and fairly high working ISO - focusing on the screen with a touch - in some situations it helps a lot - silent mode, helping out for example in churches
Cons
  • - Relatively short battery life - sat down to "zero" after four hours of photography on cityscapes and about 300 shots. - a small park of crop optics for the Z mount - long camera start after turning on - DSLRs are of course out of competition here - noise and clicks of motors of old optics when shooting video

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

The question arose about changing my old d5100 - I wanted something more compact, nimble and with better photo and video quality. The choice fell on the z50. I also considered Fuji and Sony, but somehow I didn’t work out with them. What I liked about the z50 is the ergonomics and grip of the camera, although it looks small and not very comfortable. I was surprised by the folding lens, for me it’s a novelty, let’s say, they also managed to shove optical stabilization into such a little one…

Pros
  • + lightweight and compact yet fits perfectly in the hand + convenient and intuitive menu + tiltable and fully touch screen + bright and clear viewfinder + can be charged via USB + support for 14 bit RAW + rate of fire up to 11 fps + large buffer + 4K 30fps and FullHD 120fps, there is a microphone jack + tracking autofocus on eyes/faces + there is dust and moisture protection + magnesium alloy frame + manage and transfer files (including RAW) via WiFi + you can put my optics from a DSLR through an adapter
Cons
  • When mounted on cameras on a tripod, there is no way to completely tilt the screen down. There is no headphone jack, which is generally not critical for me. A new type of battery, from my old camera will not work.
