Needs to be installed. The spot focus is better than I expected but the flow is a bit weak. I think the new design might let in too much light. A 2 row 12 LED module from the same company performs much better. (Also belong to it). Attempting to adjust the angle of the bar by aligning the locking grooves will not reach the ideal level. Installed this 270W Nilight 22" 3 row light bar on the roof of my Polaris Ranger 500efi. I used a wire harness (sold separately) and connected it to the Polaris Ranger's winch battery. For the money I paid I got a decent lightbar that fits nicely in the front bumper of my 2011 F350. They removed the license plate and its bracket and it fills up well. The light is bright and matches all my other 6k led lights on the front of my truck. But. After a lot of rain here in Washington, I found that SO much moisture had accumulated on the inside of the lenses. In the end I took it off, disassembled it and lubricated it with silicone.
