This hard drive cage works great and holds a second hard drive

This hard drive cage works great and fits a second hard drive.I had no trouble installing it or getting it recognized by the laptop. Very happy with this purchase.

  • Suitable for SATA 2.5" hard drives with a height of 12.5mm or less. Also compatible with 2.5" SSDs

Not quite right. in hard drive enclosures

The four screw holes do NOT match the holes in the 8560p enclosure. Impossible to back up properly. The drive in the cage has to lift about half an inch and rattle when the screws are loose, which wears down the SATA connector and puts it in contact with other metal parts of the laptop. The photo shows two of them. four holes that are misaligned.

Good quality with low price.

I replaced my DVD-ROM with this new hard drive case with a 2TB hard drive inside for my HP EliteBook 8570p and everything works perfect. Thanks to the manufacturer for such good stuff.
