This is bullshit. I might as well burn 20 and close the case. Doesn't work at all. I used a standard power cord with a switch and HDMI and it doesn't show up on my TV.

This is a good replacement for the standard docking station that comes with the switch. It prevents overheating and allows you to play the device when connected to the docking station without a TV. My only complaint is that it's a bit difficult to align when docked.

Wanted a second dock for another room so we could easily play on any of our TVs. In combination with a suitable separate plug, this works perfectly! It's much easier to turn on and off than the original dock. My only complaint is that I wish the HDMI was on the back so the cables aren't really visible, but I can live with that. I ordered this to replace a broken dock while we were waiting for Nintendo to fix it. The delivery time wasn't too bad considering it came from overseas. The description does not say that only a plastic case is included. It doesn't say that you have to disassemble your current Switch dock and disassemble parts of it and then use those parts to install it into the actual plastic case that comes with it.

It has everything you need to project the Switch to a TV or similar device via HDMI, and can also charge multiple devices via USB, one of which is USB 3.0, as well as the Switch . I am currently working overseas and use this dock in my free time. I didn't want to bring my official Nintendo dock, which is pretty expensive to replace if I buy it later.
