I'm 64 and my wife isn't (but she's close). I could see small objects better than them on the DS Lite. Although the XL screen size is great for both of us. Mahjong tiles and smaller elements in each game are much easier to see and match. My wife enjoys playing cards and was having trouble viewing card IDs on the DS Lite.
