Great but not amazing

Note: This has an official Nintendo seal of approval but is NOT a Nintendo product itself. It's good for the price. Certainly it feels comfortable and is very similar to a normal controller for a game cube. This is normal for Smash Bros, except it's registered as a Switch Pro controller and not a Game Cube controller, so it has two buttons on either side. the back. Other than that, these buttons are fine, except that ZL and ZR are the opposite of what they usually have, meaning you'll need toโ€ฆ

Love the way this controller looks when I first bought it, I was put off by the rough grip, which looks like concrete but actually i learned it, it worked well although the triggers were very inconsistent, one felt a lot weaker than the other but it didn't bother me much until the left bumper broke. I figured it might just be bad luck, maybe I had a glitch or something, so I remapped the controls to play Smash Bros without a specific button. A few days later, Stick C also stopped working. I was

Not recommended for serious players

PLEASE READ THIS SHORT REVIEW IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT SMASH! When you go into the calibration menu, you can see a strange gravity in the direction of the X and Y axis. This means that if you hold the analog stick straight up and SLIGHTLY left/right, the system will still point it straight registered above. This is frustrating as I would try to use an air attack against an enemy slightly diagonally from me and I would either jump straight up or miss and miss. It's frustrating because otherwiseโ€ฆ

Major improvement on the stock GC controller

After the release of Smash Ultimate I wanted a GameCube style controller with fewer analog shoulder buttons and ideally a smaller trigger on the left stick. This controller has both! It feels good to hold in my hands and I really feel like my 1v1 combat has improved since I've been using it. Some prefer the longer pressure of the original GC controller, but this one suits my style better. Fast, responsive movement and protection. It was designed with reversed shoulder buttons. So if you want to

Best 3rd Party GameCube Style Controller

Disclaimer: My review is mostly about comparing this controller to other 3rd party GameCube style controllers. I will mainly talk about its merits as part of these comparisons. I have Hori, PDP, and GameCube style PowerA wireless controllers. This is my favorite of the group. I primarily play Smash Bros, although all controllers are compatible with most of the Switch library. It's worth mentioning if you're looking for a controller that can play more games than Smash and don't prefer or want to

  • Very Fast Shipping
