Suitable for everyday use

The build quality is good but I wish it was a little heavier. The keys are decent, but sometimes the top ones feel a bit soft. Overall good value for the price. This is probably the best option for its price if you're looking for an everyday controller or a sibling to use as a second player. The cord is quite long, so it's good if you're not sitting close to the TV.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Is there anything I can add

Button layout for Switch, not PC

There is nothing "wrong" with this product per se. It's attractive and well built, and seems to work great with the Nintendo Switch. If you plan to use this with a PC, however, be aware that the button layout doesn't match the button layout on the original GameCube controllers - missing analog triggers, among other things - so it doesn't play well with the emulator.

Broken, cannot contact website support

Many 1 star reviews say the same, it introduces random attacks when playing Smash Ultimate. For me, these are attacks from the left. However, it doesn't seem to have any effect on Aether's rivals, so I don't know. I can't contact PDP to get a replacement. The controller itself feels nice and the interchangeable sticks are good, but for Smash Ultimate it's crazy broken and it happens to a lot of people so stay away.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Buttons stuck in controllers

This is the second of these controllers I have and the second to have the 'A' button stuck with minimal use. I use these as my computer game controller and play a lot of roleplaying games, so my use of the A button is nothing more than "click which attack I want to use". And after a few months of brief use it got stuck on 2 different controllers. I've attempted to fix it myself several times by cleaning the area with isopropyl alcohol, shaving off parts of the button to make it smaller, and…

Now disappointing my middle name is

This controller looks cool. Yes. Is there anything good about it? no The cable is not as long as most switch controllers, but most importantly - inexpensive. Joysticks have absolutely no resistance, so it's very easy to mix up side B and side B and you'll find you can't turn at the right moment. I would like to return it but I don't have the original box as I thought the controller would be great. It's a waste of money not to buy. I still prefer the original GC controller to that plastic butt

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good. for a while

This controller was really good. About 2 months. Then the electrical problems started. The controller would not turn on half the time and the home button light would fluctuate randomly. This means they have a problem with the board, probably a broken wire or something inside the controller. Before that it was a good controller. My only issue was that the home, +, and capture buttons were so small that they were difficult to press, and they were all too close to the plastic bar. This made it…

Good quality with a few flaws

Received the mat yesterday and tried it out right away at Smash Bros. These buttons are too close to my palm for me to be able to press them with my fingertips (and I have small hands) Sticks: This is where my mayor complains, the main stick just springs back when you move the stick sideways and then let go . Because of this, my character flips to the other side too often :( I would choose Hori for Smash Bross, he is smaller and the build quality is not very good, but he does his job better…

Pros
  • Elegant design

  • Easy to maintain

Best GameCube style controller (I've tried them all)

I have bought this controller 4 times. I didn't have the problem of accidentally entering a budget like other people at VA do. This is by far the best Game Cube style controller, it's even better than the original. The only problem I've had with this controller is that after frequent use for Smash Brothers Ultimate Be, the button starts to stick and isn't pressed fast enough. However, I think it's just because I'm playing too aggressively and maybe the oil from my fingers is damaging the…

Decent third party smash controller

I bought this controller to play Super Smash Brothers without a GameCube adapter. It's not very high quality, but it's cheap and works for what I need. Pros: - Button layout and inputs closely mimic a regular GameCube controller - Buttons work as intended - Comfortable to hold - Nice looks - It's very affordable compared to a third-party controller. Cons: - I've held a real GameCube controller in my hands before and it feels noticeably different in my hand. It's a bit bigger (which I like), but

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Too long to wait
