I've ordered a few of these for my dogs and when they work they're just great - very light and I've cut them to hang loosely around my dog's neck so they don't dig into his fur. But after a few days, they started to lose their luster. They should run 60 hours so I don't think it's the battery. They tend to get brighter when I shake them and then dim them back down a bit. Too bad.

So I bought one of these a few years ago. I got a new dog and tried to use my old one but after changing the battery he got bored very quickly. So we ordered another one. It was nice and bright and I put it on my dog at night for walks and also for that last potty break before bed through the back door and we can easily tell where it is in our backyard at night! But it started to fade very quickly. It would be better to make it waterproof.

Great collar on arrival and first use! However, be sure to cut it to the length you want. Since a regular collar doesn't have a proper clasp, I'm assuming it's meant to be pulled over the dog's head. So in both directions, through the ears and so on. So you have to cut it EXTRA wide, like a big hula hoop. So you have no problems getting dressed and undressed. We've been using them for a few weeks now either in the garden after dark or on a late night walk as it gets dark. Several neighbors asked where we got them and how they work. At the moment the batteries are enough and the product is held by our dogs. It's great to see where the dogs are in the yard when it gets dark. We didn't expect to use them so much on our evening walks, but they really came in handy as they kept us and our dogs visible when it got dark or dark.

This is great for improving my black dog's nonexistent night visibility. It's not as bright as some lights I've seen because it doesn't have a bunch of LEDs around the collar, it's just a single light in each direction that goes through a clear tube around the neck. Kind of a cool idea. Battery life is good and it feels solid, although by design the ends just fall apart so you don't have to pull the collar or attach a leash to it. You may also need an additional collar.

I was happy with it. People on the street loved it. Sometimes it broke because the leash went through and then got attached to her straps in front. I left a few extra inches on the ring to keep the leash out of the way. Of course, when it's on it's easy to notice it's been dropped, and that's just a minor annoyance. I didn't turn it on last time because it wasn't dark enough and I lost it without realizing it. I like it enough to reorder and take out the tape to fix the problem!

I tried the light there. These kids work! I have different colors for each dog so I can spot them from a distance when they are off the leash. I even see a thick haired guy, he's so fair. And the on/off button is a bit heavier so it goes down around the neck. My old man has cataracts and that doesn't prevent him from seeing at night. I've bought a few of these now. I'll leave her somewhere forever. and I will continue to buy them. They're inexpensive, have LOTS of lights for nighttime outings, are highly visible from 50 feet, are water and stain resistant, and are easy to slip on and off. My dog's head and ears, but doesn't slip off easily. To get the right size I had to bite it off a bit until it was perfect. an annoyance for both of us, but worth it because now I can hold the collar and she will pop her head in or out. I…
