Not waterproof, light rain will damage the light!

The light stops working in light rain but the one on my helmet still works, it doesn't have an oled screen that's probably the problem, I'll use the one that doesn't have an oled and cheaper

I can see for miles

Wow! This light is expensive, but worth every penny. As the seasons started to change this year and the mornings were pitch black, I decided I needed to upgrade my cheap flashlight and I wasn't disappointed. This light is brighter than the combined lights of the other two people I ride with. Pros: Multiple brightness settings Multiple light settings - panache No surprises in front of me in the dark Cons: Price Here you have to weigh how much you drive, when you need lights and your safety.

Good light, poor customer service

Pros: Bright light that works very well. I like the light itself. Con, Minor: It's a little tricky to figure out how to use the many options. Maybe it's necessary, but I'd like a more intuitive interface that's easier to use without diving into the manual. Cons, Major: Customer service is terrible, frankly non-existent. I'm using a light on an e-bike with a very narrow diameter front handlebar that has a NiteRider attached. The strip is so narrow that light slides and rotates along it. I have…

Amazingly bright, best in sports

I've only used this on setting number 2 so far and it's been amazing. It was easy to install and very lightweight. The display of the battery life is very useful. I like the different flashing modes alongside the normal light, but chose normal light as the default because it's so strong it doesn't need anything else to be noticed. Also, on the days I had to get back onto the sidewalks, there was enough light to sidewalk pedestrians before I hit them head-on. Even when overtaking other cyclists…

Bright, compact and high quality!

This is my third NiteRider in ten years. My final headlight was a Pro 1500 DIY headlight that I used on my road bike for dark commuting. While the Lumina 1200 OLED isn't as bright or as long-lasting, it's definitely worth the money. It's also a lot smaller compared to its overall size compared to the Pro 1500 and the six-cell battery that keeps it going. I'm very happy with the performance, brightness levels and solid construction of the Lumina 1200 OLED. In addition, the LED screen shows the…

so-so mount, reliability issues, expect better value for money

Light is good but the mount is a little wobbly. I was having trouble getting the light out of the mount until I added some shims under the arm. The plug that protects the USB port from water is very tiring to use. I suspect most users won't care (but that leaves the flashlight open to water damage). Eventually it started charging intermittently. Then it stopped loading completely. This is after I've had the light for about 2 years. So I opened the light. It turned out that one of the 90 degree…

1200 OLED vs 1200 OLED

I'm driving to work in the dark and need new quality lighting. I don't need an external battery like I used to. Turning the lights off for safety is just too much work. And the outer packaging is bulky and unattractive. I have paired both 1100 OLED and 1200 OLED. Yes, the 1200 OLED is brighter and surprisingly the 1200 OLED has a longer battery life. I set them up as a pair for better battery life so I can use them at an average level and still ease my way. I keep one peak slightly lower than…

Decent but imperfect light

I mostly use the light on my road bike on the 550 lumen setting. It's bright enough, but sometimes I turn it all the way up for a better view. The beam shape is very good side-to-side and down, but in my opinion some of the light is "wasted" at the top. I think the NiteRider could do something clever with the lens to reduce the amount of light escaping upwards. I understand that this may not be desirable in mountain biking. Either the remaining time display is not working properly or there is a

s00pa'-d00pa' hell!

It's so hard to understand HOW bike lights work just by reading about them on a website or in an ad. Even watching videos that are made can't really show the true brightness, lumens or lighting scheme. These things just don't translate properly so you end up taking a risk if you don't see it demonstrated in person. This light will not disappoint any cyclist. I also have a NiteRider Dual 1800 Boost. I got these directly from the company because I had a discount there. This was a bit more…
