Privacy Film

It's a nice print/pattern and will definitely block eyes, but it's a bit thick and feels too heavy to stay on. I used lots of water on the glass and installed it properly (I've done this before) but the top kept rolling off. I had to install it temporarily. Being in a tight role at reception probably didn't help. Update: The film wasn't sticking to the window pane and had to stop doing that.

Great product for window film

This was perfect for my "frosted glass" effect on my showcase doors. I've bought this twice already. The product is great but I have a warning. After applying the film to the cabinet glass and installing the glass into the cabinet door. I used compressed air to blow sawdust etc off the glass. Bad idea. Air bubbles appeared under the film and I had to repeat the application. It's not the product's fault, but it's best not to do it.

Installation Tips! suitable for window decals and films

I found it easier to cut an eighth of an inch from the top and one length. Instead of trying to crop it on the window itself. When I did that, trying to squeeze out any air bubbles, the foil stretched and had to be cut again. If you cut it first there will be room for bubbles instead of stretching. I've found this to be perfect for you if you want total privacy. I wanted something more offbeat so I could see even more, it's very personal which I like at night, not so much during the day!

Changes the look of my storm door!

I really like the drawing. When residents walk by, they cannot see inside, even with the front door open. I left about 1/2 inch space so I can see for myself. Instead of soap and water I used Windex and a scraper, it seems to stick to the glass better. I took my time and I only got about 4 small air bubbles that I couldn't pick, but it's not that noticeable. Film has good thickness and isn't thin like color paper. I tried to make it as good as possible. If you screw up, take it off and start…

Did what I needed.

Surprised the back isn't sticky. Perhaps it was my own lack of reading the details. This is a wet application where you have to spray water on and then apply and squeeze the water out. It's okay, I just had to put a towel under my project. Worked great. It was easy to move and fit. Thick material that requires STRONG pressure to tear. Once it dries, it's definitely not going anywhere. I didn't want the film to be too transparent and it was perfect. I wanted him to hide the shelves on top of an…

Ideal for privacy and light

This is a good product. I like the pattern very much. Installation requires patience and planning. The side panels pictured are 58 x 15 and I didn't want to cut the panel so it took me 1 full roll to make 2 panels. Tips: Use a disc cutter; The film needs a lot of clean water to stick to the pane. It's easy to reposition. Make sure your water isn't heavily mineralized or you'll have stains on the opposite appearance. I didn't use soap. A bubble scraper is a must. Once the large bubbles are gone…

Vinyl Window Covers. Installed for a year and a half

I bought and installed a vinyl covering about a year and a half ago and after six months all the windows in the house were replaced and I was able to reuse the vinyl with no problem. Definitely want to follow the instructions. Be sure to wash the windows with a product that leaves no residue. If you clean it with Windex, wipe it with a lint-free cloth dampened with water. Do not clean it with a paper towel as many small paper towel particles will stick to your window. I also recommend buying a…

Excellent window film

I have been putting window film on various windows in my house for many years so window film is enough for me. I was not disappointed with this film, it is of very high quality, smells very little when it comes out of the box and fit without any problems. This design is perfect for my mid-century style master bedroom and offers great privacy when my curtains are open. I love having my curtains open to let in natural light, but I don't like it when my roommate peeks into my bedroom. As a note if
