It works quite well and is a good practice balisong/butterfly knife. However, if you're trying to close a knife with the comb blade hidden in the handle, it's a bit difficult to get the latch to close them together. This bolt also flies all over the place making openings and tricks. Sometimes this can be annoying as the bolt can get caught between the handles or other places which can interfere with your trick. I bought this for my son so he can use it to do tricks like a butterfly knife but safer with a comb. It's so stiff it even moves when you try to turn it. Completely destroys the target. Doing this is a waste of money.
