Material: nice and soft but there were a few loose ends on the elbows that I had to remove. It's a little thinner than I expected. Appearance: The color (at least in the Herrington blue variant) differs from the illustration. There is no edge either. Sizes: L/XL is fine for me (6ft 4in) but the sleeves are about 2 inches short. The product description should provide accurate sizing information and not solely rely on reviews.

heavy cotton flannel that will be a luxury for years to come. Perfect Length - 2 inches off the floor on a 5'10" husband. No drafts in the legs.

This bathrobe is exactly what I wanted for my husband. Fits as shown. He says it's the perfect weight (typical, nice flannel), has an edgy look, and is long enough to hit mid-calf! The sleeves were the right length and reached to the wrists. It also fits around his rather ample waist, and both the robe and tie are long enough to fit. For reference, he is 6ft 3in tall and weighs approximately 225lbs, ordered in L/XL.

This robe is essentially as described with a few defects. First, the material is very thin. If you're looking for something thick and warm, keep looking. Second, the sizing is definitely on the XL side. I'm 6ft 3in and 200lbs and this thing is huge for me. Ironically, the belt is only half the length needed to tie around the waist and hold the robe closed. (insert Hollywood producers joke here)

I used to buy my mother a pair of Twin Boat/Noble Mount pajamas. I find that the Noble Mount label is of slightly better quality. This robe has a slightly thinner fabric and after one wash the surface looks like it will soon start to roll. There is no internal communication. On the other hand, the sewing quality is excellent, it has the right seams and the dressing gown has a beautiful border.
