Sounds absolutely incredible!

I am very impressed! With many great reviews, there have always been those few "dodgy" reviewers that sometimes make you wonder if you're willing to spend $50 on a "budget" tube amp. Well I have to tell everyone this is not a trick. This lamp amplifier is exactly what you need. There is never a hum, "empty" or metallic noise, even when the device is tapped. I wanted a "preamp" from my computer pc to my old Fisher receiver (40+ years old) and speakers. Audio signal 1/8 jack from the PC/laptop is not real. Studio level output, no matter how much you crank up the computer volume, it lacks the signal for an auxiliary input to your home stereo. Are you asking if you need an amplifier?

This device is ONLY useful if you only need reinforcement. Ask yourself if this is what you need. You don't belong in this category if you're one of those people who use the headphone output on their digital phones or computers.
