I bought the amplifier with power pack. When hooked up to just a speaker and power supply, the amp produced a tremendous amount of digital noise and noise. I've tried plugging this power supply into a grounded surge protector, it's still noisy, no other computers or electronics are connected to that circuit. Tried other speakers and shielded cable, no difference. The amp itself is tiny and well built but too loud and unacceptable to use so it was returned.

Overall: Very disappointed in my experience with this product. The device kept disconnecting, I suspected a bad network connection. I opened up the unit (I know this will void the warranty but the sticker has already peeled off so why not. Probably fixable easily with soldering) and found that some of the pins on the volume control potentiometer weren't even soldered were on the board. 100W type The included power adapter is not powerful enough to deliver full power. You need to find a 24V power supply to get there. I figured they were trying to extend its life with a brick as the amp gets hot at full load at 24V. Untuned low frequencies are muddy. Crossover with equalizer or digital equalizer solves the problem. Even audiophiles will probably appreciate this little amp. It's good for small to medium sized spaces like an office or bedroom, I could see regular use in some home

This item is tiny; about two inches wide and one inch high. I took mine apart and installed the faceplate and circuit board into the speaker enclosure. I noticed that all the components were of very good quality and the overall workmanship was excellent. I cut off some wires going to the back panel and was a little annoyed because the soldering on the back connectors was so good.
