My dad broke his hip and is using a walker. These sock are attractive and have effective grips on thd bottom. Much thicker and nicer then the hospital socks.

Got these for my 98-yr old father who has developed a chronic sore on the end of his big toe so he can't wear a shoe right now. His shoe size is 9 and I ordered XL to have a bit of extra clearance for the toe bandage. He also has circulatory issues so his feet are often swollen. Wife got these for me prior to my knee surgery. They are comfortable and grip like no tomorrow. I do not like these socks they give in hospital but these I like. I will caution for people that get these. Do not drag your feet wearing them, you may trip especially after any sort of surgery. They are warm, its as if the little grippy space off the cold floor so that was pleasant.

I bought several pairs of non slip socks and these are my favorites by far! As a person with MS, walking is challenging, but these give me the security I need to keep moving! I am pleased!

The non-skid slipper socks are a practical solution to a practical problem. Ordinary socks and some other foot coverings are slippery on hard surfaces. The "dots" on the soles of these socks improve traction to hard surfaces reducing the chances of slipping and possibly falling. Intially, the "dots" on the soles of the socks were very sticky. The stickiness disappeared after some usage of the socks.

The product is exactly as described but here is something you should know BEFORE you purchase:Whoever designed these is either ignorant on how a foot works or an absolute genius! There is plenty of non-skid patches in the middle of the foot; however there is very little in the toe and heel sections. The toe and heel sections are what is used the most on a foot. After trying multiple brands (nike, tommy hilfiger), I am using these socks now. The biggest positive is they don't slip, I use them for walking. I wish they had ankle-length (smaller in length) versions.
