Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted kid-friendly, microwave and dishwasher safe bowls that looked like regular tableware. I didn't think it would be so difficult for me, but I searched long and hard until I found her. They look really pretty and don't look stained with tomato and pasta sauce. I will be buying more soon!

This is exactly what we were looking for. Ideal for flavoring tacos or for cooking and baking. We have several glass bowls that we have used but one after the other fell and shattered onto our tile flour. It's much better and you don't have to worry about finding broken glass on the floor. We will likely purchase more as the need arises. I don't like turquoise, I would prefer white, yellow or red but that's just a preference.

I bought a 6 piece set: 3 bowls with lids and bowls for cooking and serving. I was initially disappointed with how small the prep and serving bowls were, but I find so many uses for them that I use them daily. Large bowls with lids are ideal for mixing and storage. I didn't have any issues with the lids as some reviewers have. The lids fit well and don't leak when tipped, although not tight enough to be turned upside down.
