Non-stick coating is coming off

After about a dozen uses, the non-stick coating started to come off. We follow washing and cooking guidelines (we don't even have a dishwasher). Unfortunately, since we make waffles so infrequently (about every two months), it's long overdue to bring them back to Revain. I would use a real cast iron waffle maker if I could order again.

Satisfied until coating comes off after second use, no Bueno

Thought it was durable and well made. Since only one side burns at a time, a turning system needs to be installed so both sides cook evenly, which isn't difficult. I make Liège waffles in portions of 10. After the second use, the pan started peeling. Not good for a $40 item. I never use a dishwasher, only by hand. It goes in the trash. I do not recommend.

Love it! Works amazing!

I was very skeptical about buying this waffle maker after reading conflicting reviews but I'm so glad I took the change and bought it. Others have mentioned sticking issues, but I've experienced very little sticking when using a small amount of grapeseed oil spray. Sticking is easily and quickly eliminated with the help of a fork, which is carefully removed from the iron when turning it over. Although, as I said, for me it was not a big problem. Other reviewers also mentioned that the hinges…

Non-stick, easy to clean

This is a really great waffle pan. I make sourdough pancakes all the time and thought making waffles would be fun. I found and ordered this cast iron skillet from Revain. A few days later I was making waffles every day instead of pancakes. You simply lay the batter on one side to fry, then flip it over to fry on the other side. The waffle jumps right out of the pot. I've never had any sticking issues and it's very easy to clean. There's something really fun about waffles compared to pancakes. I

Simple, light, no wires, not just another device etc.

People are all it takes to make waffles. I mean you have a stove right? We have used it several times. Reviewers complaining that the loop is awkward or awkward to use. I can't help you other than assume you're wrong, lazy, don't have an arm, etc. Yes, maybe try the moves once or twice. We didn't use the recipe that came with the unit as we had our own. . Again no problem. Preheat both sides (easy as it will break apart). Pour/scoop batter on one side. Join the 2 halves together and close. To…

Fast and easy to use

It's so easy to use and very fast. I was worried I wouldn't know when the waffles were done because there is no timer, but as long as you pay attention you can easily tell when they're done. (Once the waffles are cooked to the point where they won't stick to the waffle maker, you can open it and check the process without damaging the waffles.) One benefit of the stovetop waffle maker is that you can heat the waffles to the desired level can bake. black because you control your destiny! (I like…

Sticky Gate (Waffle Maker)

I have had this waffle maker for two years now. When it worked, it made perfect, crispy waffles. But the longer I have it, the more it sticks. I followed the instructions in the video and book. I left it dirty I compulsively cleaned it of all particles. In desperation I improvised with a spray oil. I ended up having too many breakfasts where I had to put down the iron and turn waffle batter into pancake batter. One too many times I was left with broken waffles, butter everywhere, angry kids…

Very happy with this waffle maker - well worth it

I cannot say enough good things about this waffle maker. I have an Olaf electric waffle maker that my parents gave to my daughter. I've used it a few times and still have to use it as she loves the olaf shaped waffles it makes. However, cleaning it properly is the biggest hassle. The waffle mold has small holes and crevices that make cleaning extremely difficult as you cannot submerge it in water. After tasting how good homemade waffles tasted even though they were Olaf shaped, I always wanted…
