Norpro 524 Citrus Juicer Mini Review

It was awkward to use. I didn't sieve the lemon seeds. Didn't squeeze the lemon juice either. I bought this to take lemon water to work but it didn't work well. A two-lever citrus press works much better.

This is a fairly small juicer but as I don't juice often it fits me well. Good deal for its price. Easy to disassemble and clean. My friend used the lid to make the juicing process easier (i.e. pressing the fruit half against the juicer with the lid) and it worked really well.

We like it. Ideal for lemons and limes. The orange picture is a bit misleading. You cannot juice large oranges with this model. The orange pictured should only be the size of a large lemon. Still, it works great, especially if you have cuts on your hands. No more lemon juice in small cuts. Brilliant.

This works as advertised. I like the small size. However, the spout doesn't always pour well, and the idea of the top gripping your lemon or lime and you just having to invert it and squeeze the juice doesn't really work. Like anything else, good juice requires you to use your hands. I recently got a basic Mexican elbow juicer and it seems to work just as well.

Plus: right size for a lemon, dispenser works well and pours at an easily controllable speed Minus: juicing part difficult to rinse/clean, juicing part is very firmly attached to the base of the collector making it difficult to remove Conclusion: I would happily pay more for an improved version that is easier to flush and easy to slide in and out of the base. Maybe the Lego guys could make a version?

This was a huge waste of money. It's tiny. I purposely bought small lemons from the grocery store to use this (when I got it in the mail and saw how small it was) and they barely fit. this is more suitable for limes. It also saves just one lemon juice before it starts spilling. The seeds slip through very easily. I am very disappointed in this purchase.
