LOVE LOVE LOVE these! I want to buy more! I use them to keep herbs fresh, as well as asparagus and celery (although I do need to cut back on the celery). They add weeks to the life of my herbs!

I love coriander and it used to spoil too quickly if it was wrapped in plastic and put in the fridge. Norpro Herb Keeper solved this problem for me. Stem herbs stay fresher in the fridge for much longer, so I can use them in a variety of recipes throughout the week—no more wastage.

I bought one of these years ago to store cilantro and it has always kept it fresh much longer than any other storage method. I bought another one for parsley and it also holds up very well. I've given some away as gifts too and they've been favorites with friends and family. Put simply, it works very well.

My French mother in law keeps herbs in a water glass like vase with a plastic bag on top. This works fine but I was tired of spilling it so I found this. I returned it after a month because: - it is not waterproof; Water runs out when knocked over - It's small; too small for a medium sized bunch of cilantro - very difficult to unscrew when wet - slippery, nothing to snag on. Throwing herbs into a glass storage container with water at the bottom proved just as good.

This herb keeper works great! I was considering only giving 4 stars because of the size, wish it was a bit wider. It's a little difficult to put in a whole bunch of herbs (like supermarket parsley and cilantro) without crunching on a few, BUT as far as the quality of the herb preservation goes, I had to give it a full 5 STARS!
