🍯 Optimized Norpro Honey Dipper Set with Silicone Design Review

Looks great on a table when not in use. It's elegant, but the opening is too small and when you remove the lid with the honey casing it's difficult to get it out of the jar without bumping into the sides, causing drips of honey to run down the sides of the jar. and make the top sticky.

When I bought it it seemed like a great idea but if you are buying natural honey like us be careful as it has inside hardens completely in a week. in a container and we had to put it in warm water to get the bucket out. Basically, the container is now unusable. So!

We had a tear and were dying to replace it. The old one was as shown in the photos - a thicker base on a glass jar. The new one is really very thin glass. Since we don't have any children at home I think he will survive but he seems to be a bit more tender.

I originally bought a Blomus honey jar but this spoon didn't float up and down like this one (and mind you it was more expensive). This spoon moves up and down, but the top doesn't "seal" like I was hoping. It's very easy to just smack the top and pop it open without even realizing it, allowing it to sit and collect dirt in your honey. Until then, I'll just be careful. It would be absolutely perfect if only the top was attached better!

Almost what I expected after reading all the opinions on different products. I love the look of the yellow pitcher, but I chose something I can see through, a non-wooden scoop, and I would cover the top to keep the ants out. It doesn't snap into the top of the jar, but ants can't get in. It's glass, so I'm careful not to drop it. I will microwave for 10 seconds or less if the honey hardens in the colder months.

I already have a similar honey dipper that I am very happy with but I need another for my buckwheat honey. I've seen reviews of poor glass quality but the picture showed a thick glass back similar to what was already there. Needless to say the picture is deceptive and the glass is very thin and fragile. This is a very handy little product with a good design. Great idea and looks good too. The lid fits the jar snugly and has a nice lip so the lid never falls off the jar. The honey bucket rod can be moved up and down to lower and rise in the honey. It's handy to hold the ladle just below the honey level so the whole stalk doesn't get sticky.
