High Grip But - my new rating

My kid loves these boots but after 1 season the lining (thermal lining) has torn well, it could be saved, the seams seem to have come undone but not what I expected from a north face.

Pros
  • The shoes look exactly how you imagine them. But the size is small. I ordered a size 4 (big kids), fits like a three. Good shoes just run small.
Cons
  • Maybe too difficult for some

Great buy, my pros and cons

The seller answered my questions immediately. I was skeptical that I wouldn't buy direct from Northface but the boots are ok. that again

Pros
  • I can't put them on my son's leg. The ankle area is too tight and his leg doesn't go through.
Cons
  • Limited color options

Warm, dry and fashionable

This is my daughter's second pair. We liked them so much when we first ordered them again. The only downside is that you have to pinch your heel when you take them off, otherwise the inner shoe will also come loose.

Pros
  • The color is perfect, the girl is happy with the color, they match perfectly. She said she loves her!
Cons
  • Everything OK

Hardly able to get in or out.

My daughter has a tiny, slim fit, but the boot barely opens enough for the foot to slide as it should. They were so stiff that she couldn't even get her leg out when we finally put it in. Although the boots fit well.

Pros
  • My grandson says they fit perfectly and are warm in the severe frosts we are having now
Cons
  • Muy bonitas las botas pero demasiado pequeño

Impossible to reach

These boots are well made but the opening is very narrow and almost impossible to put on. Not ideal for encouraging a child's independence. There is a pull code on the front, but that should be for beauty's sake as it has no function.

Pros
  • Great shoe, my son struggles with shoes and it works great
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other outdoor boots.

Have worked for us for many years and hopefully more.

I buy them for my kids every year. They hold up very well and I can usually get them for about $30 after the winter season here at Revain, Backcountry or Moosejaw. I always buy winter boots and snow suits/trousers after winter for next year. I can usually sell the old ones on sale for about $10 so I have to spend about $20 on them. Walmart charges about $30 for unbranded junk that doesn't last. The kids like them because they break up easily, they tell me their feet don't get cold, and we live…

Pros
  • FOR COLD TIMES. Even when temperatures drop, these boots feature a removable Thermalfelt Plus liner for superior warmth down to -25°F.
Cons
  • High price

Perfect winter boots for cold and snowy areas!

I love these boots! Your feet won't freeze! I hate being cold and living with upstate New York with winters so good winter boots are a must. They fit as expected; I usually wear a size 6 1/2 so I ordered a 7 just in case they run small. But 7 is a bit big. I still wear them and love them! I would say the extra room is perfect for good wool socks but I think it would make my feet TOO warm and they would all sweat! How wonderfully warm these boots are. I don't know how long-lasting they are, but…

Pros
  • CHILDREN AT PLAY. Whether it's a snowy day or a winter wonderland weekend, these boots will keep little ones warm and dry for another snowball fight.
Cons
  • Crease

Love My Boots

I originally bought these boots for my 11 year old son last winter for our first crazy snow day. I have these boots for first saw it on Revain but back then shipping must have taken a while even with Prime because I think everyone bought them so I bought my son a pair of Dick's Sporting Goods because we needed them ASAP. I loved the boots so much.much and just tried on my son's shoes and found they are very nice on the inside but too big for my feet.I ended up going back to Revain and bought a…
