Worth the price - absolutely!

I was skeptical about paying that much for a pair of flip flops but they are so much better than my cheap pair! The strap is soft and comfortable; The insole is soft but supportive. Hope these last a long time!

Pros
  • BOW SUPPORT. These sandals have an anatomical arch support for stability even in flip flops.
Cons
  • Periodicity

Maximum comfort and quality

The North Face Mini Base Camp are the only flip flops I buy anymore. They'll last forever (unless your Labradoodle pup finds them) and are very comfortable for long-term wear. I have slightly narrow feet with decent arches and they hold up very well unlike others I've tried.

Pros
  • DURABLE BELT. Made for the lake, beach or garden, these flip flops feature a Base Camp synthetic strap for secure comfort wherever you go.
Cons
  • Doubtful

My second pair. suitable for shoes

I have the exact same pair but the camouflage and ice wore them down so much they fell apart. So I had to buy another pair. Just like my old ones. Very comfortable and soft. Black goes with everything, so I can wear it with a lot of things. Definitely my No. 1 sandal for the summer!

Pros
  • SHOES FREEDOM. The durable yet lightweight Base Camp Mini II women's flip flop features an Air sole with three studs for traction and an ultra-comfortable, durable geodesic footbed.
Cons
  • Good but not great

Wrong size received

I ordered an 8 for women and ended up with a 10 for women. They are made of a stronger rubber than the last pair I had. I'm disappointed because they weren't the size I ordered and they weren't quite the quality I expected.

Pros
  • RUBBER SOLE. The lightweight rubber outsole with three studs offers excellent traction without bulk.
Cons
  • Reliability

. do not buy. at Athletic

. Waste of money even though the company is good. odd fit and appearance. The grip on wet surfaces is not particularly good. Of the ones I've tried for casual wear [mainly for home use and short commutes to market], my favorite brand for these simple, casual slippers is Teva. FWIW, every Teva product I have purchased through Revain has been very satisfactory.

Pros
  • SOFT STIT. An eggcrate-like EVA footbed offers super-soft comfort.
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it is written

Super small for women

I ordered these shoes for my normal shoe size and they are too small. Sent back and ordered full size and they fit just like the smaller size. After that I looked them up on the north face website and they say they run small so I would go one size up or if you have wide feet like mine maybe just go for something else. I ended up making men's sandals for base camp and they are perfect.

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
