These shoes are perfect for my hardy outdoor toddler. He has worn them river fishing and hiking and they totally live up to my expectations. They hold onto a bit of dirt due to the breathable material, it's water shoes, that's to be expected, but it never slowed down my little fella or stopped big rocks from hitting them. We will buy a new pair for both kids next summer! Definitely recommend!

I ordered two pairs, one for a 5 year old and the other for a 2 year old. Both fit well and children can easily put them on themselves. The drawstring is way better than the velcro as my kids love tramping around in the mud. The only reason I didn't give these shoes 5 stars is that when children walk on hard surfaces (kitchen floor/wood), they leave black marks. However, both pairs lasted year-round and never fell or broke up.

Oh my god I'm just obsessed with these shoes! They are just as good as the Keen baby shoes I was going to buy at my local gym. They are true to size, soft enough on the inside for a kid to go sockless (I still recommend them), have an adjustable elastic drawstring that doesn't move, and the outsole is made of such high-quality, grippy rubber PERFECT for the outdoors or for new hikers .
