Completely standard product, nothing remarkable.

Its pros: everything is fine, except for the most important thing for me - battery life With its cons: on declared 19.5h, on the official. website at about 13:00. In fact, it is no different from all other models - about 6-7 hours.

Modification to 4k\i7\16gb\512gb ssd Many of the minuses are rather nit-picking, I would not pay much attention to them, perhaps to everything except CO. With her - really cant, which comes out of its weight and thickness. You need to understand that this situation will be on any ultrabook with a similar case. It's just that the current mass technologies and capabilities are not enough to remove so much heat in such a limited space. In general, in the price category up to 90, perhaps even up to

Pros
  • Weight. Very light. Compact. Price. 85t. R - for this amount I got it, there are no competitors. Performance, it is high, but at short-term loads (see cons - the cooling system can not cope and the processor goes into throttling, performance drops to its counterparts on i 5) Screen - always skeptical about gloss and touch screens (previously used ThinkPad). But here, to be honest, everything is very cool, if you don’t sit with your back to the window or on the street during the day. The brightness is sufficient, the picture quality, the color balance, everything is just super, the default scaling is 300%, set to 250%, a little smaller, but acceptable and more content fits. The optimal level IMHO. You still need an external monitor for extended use. In general, the screen is suitable, I don’t see much point in taking matte FHD, it’s still disgusting to work at 13 inches for a long time because of the size. Keyboard - I wrote above that I used ThinkPad and I really liked it there, and so, here it is! GREAT! One of the best keyboards, if not the best, I've ever used, Asus - bravo! Another would be TrackPoint here and there would be a spaceship. Soft pressing, clear tactile feedback, super! Sound - not to say that outstanding, used other models with Harman \ kardon on board. But overall it's pretty good quality. Very fast SSD - connected via pci-e. Fast fingerprint scanner. Unlock strongly <1s. It was longer on the ThinkPad-e. For this class of devices, there are quite a lot of ports + a laptop can be charged through any of them + monitors can be hooked up. Great. Includes mini docking station + mouse + branded case. Nice. Well, 16 GB of RAM, all competitors in this price category have a maximum of 8 (xiaomi \ huawei and others), for me it was critical to have at least 16 GB. Of the options, only MSI px42 remained, it seems, and mate x pro, but even for the youngest modification, the price started from 104 thousand. The gap is huge, the advantages are doubtful.
Cons
  • It takes a long time to charge, especially under load (~ 2 hours (10% -100%)) The engraved 2022 symbols are not painted over very well, with the backlight turned on, gaps are visible in places (localization cant, in fact, there is no such thing in the Latin alphabet). The lower right corner creaks a little, if you squeeze it with your fingers, you may need to slightly tighten the bolt. The upper part heats up noticeably while charging. In general, the laptop is quite hot in this modification, the standard CO is frankly not enough! The processor runs at its maximum frequencies for just a couple of minutes, then throttling begins and rolls down to 1.4-1.8 ghz, depending on the load. And that's with the fans running. In general, if the load that you plan to give this laptop is permanent, long-term, then there is no point in taking the i7. i7 will open, run, compile something faster if it's a couple of minutes, but on long heavy processes it will not be faster than i5. There is something to think about. The off button, like on almost all asus in a row with all the other keys. A matter of habit, but immediately not very convenient. Marky case - collects prints. A strong magnet on the lid, it is difficult to open with one hand, although the hinges themselves go easily and allow you to do this. Sometimes, in some incomprehensible rare modes, a squeak of throttles skips, literally a couple of seconds.
